techcadd conducted a workshop on Agentic Artificial Intelligence (Agentic AI) at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Regional Campus, Gurdaspur, Punjab, focusing on the growing importance of intelligent AI systems and their potential to transform the way tasks are planned, executed, and automated.
Artificial Intelligence is evolving rapidly, moving beyond conventional systems that primarily respond to user instructions towards more advanced solutions capable of working towards defined objectives. Agentic AI is an emerging area in which AI systems can plan tasks, use tools, coordinate multi-step workflows, and pursue goals with varying levels of human supervision.
The workshop focused on building awareness of Agentic AI and its relevance in today's technology-driven environment. Understanding these systems can help students explore how intelligent agents may support workflow automation, assist with complex tasks, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to innovative digital solutions.
The programme also highlighted the importance of understanding emerging AI technologies and their practical implications. As organisations increasingly explore intelligent automation, knowledge of AI fundamentals, logical reasoning, programming, and responsible technology adoption can help students prepare for evolving industry requirements.
Agentic AI is creating new areas of exploration within Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, software development, intelligent automation, and AI-powered application development. Developing knowledge in these domains can help students identify future learning opportunities and build skills relevant to the changing technology landscape.
Through such educational initiatives, techcadd continues to promote technology awareness and future-oriented learning among students. Workshops on emerging fields such as Agentic AI encourage learners to understand technological advancements and explore how these innovations may influence future careers and industries.
The Agentic AI workshop at GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur, highlights the growing relevance of next-generation AI technologies and the importance of preparing students for an increasingly intelligent and automated digital world.
