Refund Policy

Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which techcadd Computer Education ("techcadd", "we", "our" or "us") processes refund requests for course fees. By enrolling in any programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this policy.

Cooling-Off Period

If you change your mind after enrolling, you may request a full refund within 3 (three) days of the date of payment, provided that you have not attended more than one class or session. The refund will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days.

Refund Before Course Commencement

If a session has not yet started and you wish to withdraw, you are eligible for a refund of 90% of the total fees paid. A 10% administrative charge will be deducted to cover processing, counselling and seat reservation costs. The request must be submitted in writing (email or in person) before the scheduled session start date.

Refund After Course Commencement

Within the first 7 days of the course start date: A refund of 70% of the total fees paid will be issued, provided no more than 3 sessions have been attended.

Between 8 and 14 days of the course start date: A refund of 50% of the total fees paid will be issued.

After 14 days from the course start date: No refund will be issued. However, you may request a session transfer (subject to availability) or a course credit that can be applied towards a different programme within 6 months.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances: (a) registration or admission fees; (b) examination or certification fees; (c) course materials, books or kits that have been issued; (d) any promotional discounts, scholarships or fee waivers already applied; (e) fees for workshops, seminars or special events already attended.

Cancellation by techcadd

If techcadd cancels a session or programme due to insufficient enrolment or any other reason, you will receive a full 100% refund of all fees paid, or the option to transfer to another session or programme of equal value. Refunds in such cases will be processed within 15 business days.

Session Transfer

Instead of a refund, you may request a one-time transfer to a different session of the same course, subject to seat availability. Session transfers must be requested at least 3 days before the new session start date. No additional fee will be charged for the first session transfer. Subsequent transfers may attract an administrative fee.

Course Switch

If you wish to switch to a different course before completing 25% of the current programme, you may do so by paying any fee difference between the courses. If the new course fee is lower, the difference will not be refunded but will be available as course credit. Course switches are subject to seat availability and counsellor approval.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, submit a written request via email to info@techcadd.com or visit our centre in person. Your request must include: your full name, enrolment number, course name, date of payment, reason for the refund request, and a copy of your payment receipt.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate the refund decision within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 15 business days from the date of approval.

Refund for EMI or Instalment Payments

If you enrolled on an EMI or instalment plan, the refund amount will be calculated based on the total fees paid to date, minus any applicable deductions as per this policy. Outstanding EMI obligations (if processed through a third-party finance provider) must be settled directly with the finance provider.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the refund decision, you may escalate the matter by writing to info@techcadd.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute". We will review your case within 10 business days and communicate our final decision.

All disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, India.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. The refund terms applicable to your enrolment are those in effect at the time of your payment.
