Use Burp Suite for web security testing through Proxy, Target, Repeater, Intruder, Decoder and Comparer. The defensive side introduces Security Operations Centre concepts, monitoring, log analysis, incident response and SIEM fundamentals using platforms such as Wazuh and Splunk. AI-assisted security topics include AI-supported vulnerability analysis, report generation, log analysis, threat detection and security analytics. Mini projects: DVWA assessment, OWASP Juice Shop assessment, vulnerability assessment report and AI-assisted log analyser.
Month 3 — Advanced Security, Cloud, Python & AI Automation: The final month introduces advanced security concepts including Metasploit Framework, password attack concepts, wireless security, Active Directory fundamentals and privilege escalation concepts. Learn cloud security fundamentals across AWS and Azure, including IAM, security groups and basic container security concepts involving Docker and Kubernetes. Python is introduced for cybersecurity automation, including automation scripts, API interaction, log parsing and report generation. You will then explore AI security automation using APIs from OpenAI and Google Gemini to create practical security solutions. The programme concludes with an industry-style capstone project and placement preparation covering resumes, GitHub portfolios, LinkedIn optimisation, cybersecurity interview questions, technical interviews, HR interviews and practical mock rounds.
